Challenge: While working as an Operations and Marketing Manager for this wine distributer in Chicago, the owner communicated to me that they wanted to update their logo and website, which hadn't been touched since 2007 when the company began. I worked with the CEO and Novovino team to find an updated and classic look that they could be proud of.
Novovino Wine Co. focuses on providing Chicagoland restaurants and retail community with the finest small-production artisanal wine available from all over the world. The new brand identity needed to incorporate the heritage of the industry, but also bring a modern, clean aesthetic to help the company stand out against their competition.
The Novovino team was drawn to simple and clean typefaces and preferred logos without obvious imagery. This led to a minimal and modern design that allows Novovino to showcase their products and services without distraction. The light-gold color brings a sophistication to the logo without losing approachability.
